Wars have existed for as long as the world has been in existence. They should no more exist, but, however, if they still exist, it's because humanity has evolved much more materially than spiritually. Let's try to be more concerned with the spirit than with the matter, since that's the only way we can contribute so that the dream of Peace will really come true one day.
Le guerre esistono da quando esiste il mondo. Non dovrebbero più esistere, ma, tuttavia, se esistono ancora, è perché l'umanità si è evoluta molto più materialmente che spiritualmente. It is not possible to know for sure whether the atmosphere felt right after the end of a war is one of true peace. We will only be able to know that when there is the certainty that it was a great evil that will hopefully never happen again.

Wars are the bane of humanity. They serve no purpose other than to destroy lives and undermine the hope of better and more promising days for everyone, therefore there is no logical or plausible reason that can justify them, and those called holy or sanctified are undoubtedly the worst of all.
Le guerre sono la rovina dell'umanità. Non servono a nient'altro che distruggere vite e minare la speranza di giorni migliori e più promettenti per tutti, pertanto non esiste alcuna ragione logica o plausibile che possa giustificarle, e quelle dette sante o santificate sono senz'altro le peggiori di tutte.

Certain surprises in life no longer surprise me. In fact, i no longer see them as surprises but, instead, as outcomes of supposedly predictable events that—whether i like it or not—tend to cross my path, either bringing me new joys or new sorrows. Actually, they are part of the countless stages of the recurring physical experiences that we—eternal and immortal spirits—have to fulfill for as long as we are on Earth.
Certe sorprese nella vita non mi sorprendono più. In effetti, non le vedo più come sorprese ma, invece, come esiti di eventi presunti prevedibili che, che volente o nolente, tendono ad incrociare il mio cammino, portandomi nuove gioie o nuovi dolori. In realtà, fanno parte degli innumerevoli stadi delle esperienze fisiche ricorrenti che noi, spiriti eterni e immortali, dobbiamo compiere finché siamo sulla Terra.

I wonder whether or not it is ok to add the adjective "good" or "holy" to the noun "war".
Mi chiedo se sia ok o meno aggiungere l'aggettivo "buona" o "santa" al sostantivo "guerra".
